Elton John will perform at the Pori Jazz festival on Saturday July 16. The concert will take place at the Kirjurinluoto Arena, and support acts will include American trio Sing the Truth and Finnish retro-soul singer Jo Stance.
John, who will turn 64 this March, has sold 250 million records over five decades.
The last time the singer performed in Finland was in 2009, when he played at Helsinki’s Hartwall Arena towards the end of the five-year-long Red Piano tour.
Festival organisers will announce the rest of the Pori Jazz programme at the end of March.
