Nas joined the seven-song stimulus package of G.O.O.D Music this past June and dropped off the self-titled album Nasir. The Kanye West executive produced album was met with mixed reviews and left some fans wondering would there be some more work from NAs hitting the music scene soon. With his album Poison on the way, Swizz Beatz provided details to Pitchfork about another project he lent his talents to, an entire album with Nas.

Swiss revealed in his interview that the collaboration with Nas for his album was originally meant for a solo project and referred to the tracks they worked on together as “super crazy, maniac shit.

“I did his album two years ago in one week in L.A.,” he said. “In the studio every day at 12 o’clock, just bang bang bang. Recorded the whole thing, got it all on film. It was an ill process.” Swizz stated.

Speaking on his album that is on the way, Swizz detailed Poison has its title because of the ways of the world currently. He also detailed that he has four more albums that he can release after this one. Hopefully, the idea of competing with Timbaland in a beat battle production album can too make the list of future releases after the stellar encounter they had on the Hot 97 Summer Jam stage.
