We provide access to a variety of high-quality academic databases, eJournals, eBooks, and print resources. These research materials are developed in-house by our librarian experts and in collaboration with the faculty, staff, and students of Boston University.
Collection Development
Collection development is the process of selecting appropriate materials to support the curriculum and research needs of our faculty and students. Librarians are responsible for developing the collections in specific subject areas.
Databases
BU Libraries provides access more than 500 databases on a wide variety of topics. These include databases of scholarly articles, newspapers, data, images, and more. Browse by subject and database type or search database titles and descriptions.
eJournals
BU Libraries maintain subscriptions to many of the leading electronic journals. Browse by category or search for a specific source, such as the New York Times, Nature, or the Journal of the American Medical Association.

The Boston University Institutional Repository contains documents and publications authored or co-authored by BU faculty, students, and staff.
