Carly Simon is putting on a few shows in Nashville later this year — but don't expect to hear "You're So Vain" or "Nobody Does It Better."

The pop singer-songwriter is teaming with the Nashville Opera to premiere a new performance edition of her 1993 opera, "Romulus Hunt." Three shows will be presented at the Noah Liff Opera Center's Studio Theater on Dec. 5, 6 and 7. Simon won't perform, but she will be in attendance, and each performance will be followed by an audience "talkback" session with Simon, director John Hoomes, conductor Maestro Dean Williamson and the cast.

Tickets are $38-$75 and available at http://www.nashvilleopera.org/ or by calling Nashville Opera at (615) 832-5242 or the TPAC Box Office at (615) 782-4040.
