GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBMISSION

1. All artists 18 years and older residing within an approximate 60-mile radius of Berkshire Museum are welcome to submit an application.

2. Eligible submissions: Two-dimensional work includes painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, and photography; three-dimensional work includes sculpture of all media. 2-D work may not exceed 288 total linear inches (including framing). 3-D submissions over 100 lbs. must be installed by the artist and should not exceed a 48” x 48” x 48” footprint. Maximum weight for 3-D sculptures is 500 lbs. Video work will be reviewed but limited to available monitors at the time of the exhibition. 2-D work must be delivered ready to hang.

3. The jurors reserve the right to disqualify any work not suitably presented, or any work appearing not to correspond to the entry image.

4. Artists may enter up to three works completed after January 2020.

5. The exhibition will be accessible during normal business hours from October 5th to January 5th, 2024. Artists are responsible for timely local drop-off and pick-up of their work. Works not picked up by January 19, 2025, will be considered abandoned. Berkshire Museum will not ship work back to the artist.

6. Berkshire Museum reserves the right to photograph and video any submitted work for documentary, educational, and publicity purposes.

7. Receipt of the completed application form constitutes your agreement with all conditions established in the prospectus.

8. Berkshire Museum will insure artworks for the artist’s commercial value upon receipt of the work, and through the duration of the exhibit.

9. Artworks created using Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) will not be accepted.
