Username[edit]
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, Communication department, may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it gives the impression that you have an official status within Wikipedia. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may file for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account and use that for editing. Thank you. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 13:58, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
Note[edit]
This name (Communication department) has NO official status. I just want to give it a neutral name, so in the future an other colleague can take over this account. But if you want me to, I am happy to change this username. — Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Communication department (talk • contribs)
- Two things: First, you cannot share an account. Only one person can use an account and it cannot be transferred to someone else. Second, the name gives the impression of official status whether you intend to or not. Please do request a username change at WP:CHU/S if you wish to continue editing. See the info below for details on how Wikipedia works. Ask questions if you have any. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 14:11, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
I have changed the username in: Ketelbinkie. A typical Dutch name. Okay?!
- You can do that, but I don't see the request. By the way, be sure to sign your messages with ~~~~. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 15:37, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
I changed it in the signature. That was one possibilities. How and where can I make a request for changing my username?--Ketelbinkie 07:01, 28 April 2010 (UTC)
- The signature isn't where you want to change it because the account you login with shows up on every edit you make regardless of the signature. Go to WP:CHU/S. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 10:40, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page to follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons' policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring and sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism, doing so will result your account or IP being blocked from editing.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 14:11, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
