Christina Aguilera’s taste in clothing — on those rare occasions when she’s wearing some, anyway — has received a thumbs-up from at least one important tastemaker: Donatella Versace. The two platinum-haired women, both known for garments that barely stay on, announced a partnership on Tuesday, in which the ”Dirrty” singer will serve as the designer’s new muse and model in a new ad campaign.

Versace gave Aguilera a front row seat at her fall fashion show in Milan on Tuesday and cited her as an inspiration for her designs, just as she had done with Aguilera’s fellow Mousketeer-turned-pop tart Britney Spears six months ago. ”I watch the videos of Christina and I always die,” Versace told Reuters. ”She is a great dancer, a great singer, her voice is amazing. I always hoped I could do something with her but I wanted to be friends first, that is the most important thing for me.” Aguilera repaid the compliment, saying, ”There are so many things I love about Donatella and I would wear everything she’s got.” In fact, she could probably do that all at once and still leave plenty of thigh showing.
