Cartoon Network India will start airing the timeless classic Batman: The Animated Series from Saturday, September 16 at 6:30 PM in Hindi, as part of Batman Day.

This comes after the channel announced that it will air the popular anime series My Hero Academia on the channel from this month. Cartoon Network is also airing Dragon Ball Z Kai every week as well, so it’s a good time to be an animation fan in India.

Batman Day has been celebrated annually by DC Entertainment since 2014, every third Saturday in September.

Batman: The Animated Series, which is also known as Batman TAS, ran from September 1992 to January 1999 for three seasons, consisting of 109 episodes in the US.

The show is notable for introducing the character of Harley Quinn. Joker’s henchwoman appears in the 22nd episode of the series, and became so popular that she became a major supervillain in DC’s media.

Batman: The Animated Series is renowned for its English voice cast. Kevin Conroy provided the voice for Batman, while Mark Hamill lent his voice to the character of Joker. You can watch the English dub of the show on Netflix starting September 26.
