Station marks anniversarySept. 5 marks the first anniversary for KOBF-TNTs expandedlocal news. _In 1989, News 12 increased the extent of its local news coverage by expanding its nightly newscasts.“As the area’s only local television station, we have a responsibility to present as much local news as possible, said KOBF-TV news director, Scott Michlin. “By devoting more time to local news coverage, KOBF is reinforcing its commitment to this community and the news that’s important to our viewers.”As part of its expanded local newscast, KOBF is the only television source for weather forecasts specifically geared to the Four Comers, Michlin said.
