Last month, word surfaced that Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. would release an EP on his bandmate Julian Casablancas' label Cult Records. Today he's announced details of that EP, titled AHJ, out October 8. It will be available digitally and on limited edition 10" vinyl at select record stores.

The EP follows 2006’s Yours to Keep and 2008's ¿Cómo Te Llama?-- Hammond says AHJ is "a combination of both previous recordings." It was produced by frequent Strokes collaborator Gus Oberg, and Hammond played all of the instruments with the exception of drums.

After the tracklist watch Hammond play "Holiday" and "Hard to Live in the City" in 2007.
