The first glimpses of Spider-Man Tobey Maguire's daughter, Ruby, appear in this week's issue of Us Weekly (on stands in Los Angeles and New York today, nationwide Friday). Maguire, 31, and his fiancée, jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer, 29, welcomed their first child Nov. 10 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He and Meyer, daughter of Universal Studios president Ron Meyer, have been engaged since April.

Maguire says the couple call her Ruby Sweetheart to honor Meyer's late grandmother. He said on NBC's Tonight Show With Jay Leno that "Jen's grandmother … would always call her 'Sweetheart.' "

Maguire's Spider-Man 3 opens in May.
