A first place finish by the University of Wisconsin men’s wakeboard team over number two, UW Whitewater and third place UW LaCrosse… combined with a third place by the UW  men’s barefoot team behind UW Stout and UW LaCrosse (first and second respectively), put a lock on the combined overall title at the second annual Tommy Bartlett Collegiate Extreme Championships, held September 10-12 at the famous Tommy Bartlett Show stadium in the Wisconsin Dells. Rounding out the top five TBX combined overall team placements were UW LaCrosse, UW Stout, UW Whitewater, and fifth place University of Minnesota.

Men and women combined, UW Whitewater won the Tommy Bartlett Wakeboard Open Championship and UW is the 2004 National Collegiate Barefoot Champions.

The 2004 WWC World Wakeboard Championships will be October 13-17 in Seville, Spain, and if you missed the deadline to apply for the Team, don't fret!  You can still go to Spain and compete!

Ten wakeboard riders won titles Sunday at the 2004 Malibu USA Wakeboard Championships in Loves Park, IL. In its fifth year, the event provided riders of all ages with an opportunity to be crowned national wakeboard champions. Hosted by the Ski Broncs Water Ski Show Team and the American Wakeboard Association (AWA), the Malibu USA Wakeboard Championships was part of USA Water Ski’s 2004 National Championships Series of Events.
