Identifix manages the nation’s largest automotive repair hotline fielding approximately 250,000 calls from subscribing auto repair shops each year—roughly 20,000 per month. In addition, Identifix offers Direct-Hit®, the award winning subscription-based online diagnostic service.

Repair Hotline™ is a pay per call, telephone diagnostic and repair service that provides professional real-time assistance to technicians working on hard to diagnosis issues. Identifix's industry leading hotline is used by nearly 15,000 automotive repair shops annually. Calls are routed to Identifix’s 45+ carline specialists; producing a first call resolution rate of 72% and a final resolution rate of 98.9%. Identifix has five diagnostic teams — GM, Ford , Chrysler, Asian and European; and their seasoned professionals answer calls ONLY on their carline specialty. The Repair Hotline™ provides diagnostic services to independent repair shops, major parts distributor car care programs, corporate owned chains, and franchise groups.

Identifix’s Direct-Hit® is an award winning subscription-based online diagnostic service. Direct-Hit® provides professional technicians experienced-based quick fixes, time-saving diagnostics, and real-world information that is created from Identifix’s experience diagnosing 3.5 million Repair Hotline™ calls. Direct-Hit® delivers quick and effective repair solutions by helping technicians increase productivity and profitability. It contains Hotline Archives™ featuring symptom/test/validated fix cases authored on most valuable hotline calls.

Each week over 1,500 new vehicle specific problem/solutions are authored by Identifix carline specialists. There are nearly 300,000 Hotline Archives on Direct-Hit®, making it the largest “expert” database of fixes on out-of-warranty vehicles. Direct-Hit® also has a unique revenue generating maintenance sales tool, Preventive Maintenance Plan. This Plan allows shop owners to quickly and easily create customized, consumer friendly brochures of due factory scheduled maintenance for their customers. Each week Direct-Hit® subscribers access diagnostic information on over 110,000 vehicles.
