May 21, 2009, (Sawf News) - Miley Cyrus, who starts shooting for The Last Song from June 15 in Georgia, is working with a dialect coach to get rid of her southern accent.
Here is what the 16-year-old teen star tweeted early this morning.
“My day : Set, School, Lunch, Set, Home, Pilates, Sushi /Interview, Dialect Coach (NO southern accent for last song), Meeting, Tweet, SLEEP!”
Something that Miley didn't do last night was watch American Idol because she had no time.
The Last Song has been specially penned for Miley by novelist Nicholas Sparks (The Notebook). Disney’s adaption of the novel will be helmed by Julie Anne Robnison who in the past has directed TV series like Grey's Anatomy (Five episodes) and Cutting It.
Miley Cyrus will romance Australian actor Liam Hemsworth in the drama centered on a rebellious young woman who is sent to spend the summer with her estranged father.
Hemsworth plays a member of the local cool crowd, an awesome beach volleyball player with Ivy League dreams.
Hemsworth starred in the recent Sci-Fi drama mystery Knowing starring Nicolas Cage. He has also featured in Australian TV series like The Elephant Princess (2008) and Neighbors (2008).
Here is a video of Miley at Pilate and then Katsu-Ya restaurant for a dinner business meeting last night.
