Welcome to the Department of Athletics at the College of Alameda. Our programs include Physical Education and Intercollegiate Athletics. Both are an integral part of the total educational program at the College of Alameda. Our primary focus is the education of students and to give students the knowledge necessary to develop lifestyles that will lengthen and enhance the quality of their lives.
The Intercollegiate Athletic Program at the College of Alameda provides students the opportunity to participate in Men's Basketball and Women's Volleyball. The College of Alameda is a member of the Bay Valley Conference and the California Association of Community Colleges.
Excellence in intercollegiate sports is a long held tradition at the College of Alameda. Student-athletes are expected to pursue their academic goals as well as their athletic goals. The professionalism and dedication of the coaching staff provides rigorous standards and a high transfer rate of students to four-year institutions. In the athletic curriculum, the emphasis is on physical and mental discipline, a strong work ethic, and a way to achieve a common goal through teamwork.

Van's will park in parking lot (permits will be given at time of arrival - see coach or athletic director).
All other vehicles must adhere to the Campus parking procedures or be ticketed.
