Christina HendricksChristina HendricksChristina Hendricks' figure has had the whole of Sky Showbiz HQ enthralled of late.

Pouring her curves into a Zac Posen gown for the Emmys, we haven't seen a body so buxom on the red carpet for years.

But although Christina seems to choose clothes that flaunt her figure at it's fullest, she'd rather we concentrated on her acting skills.

After magazine editors - and even politicians - have spoken out to decree Christina a positive role model for women, the actress is tired of all the attention her hourglass shape attracts.

Speaking recently to GQ, Christina said: "I was working my butt off on the show (Mad Men) and then all anyone was talking about was my body."

But the 60s setting of the TV drama provided the perfect showcase for Christina's curves, according to an interview in The Mirror: "Normally it was like, 'Oh no, we have to fix it, hide it. You look too busty, is there another way you can wear that top?' But on Mad Men it was like, 'You look great in that dress.'"

So isn't Christina happy that she's receiving positive comments, unlike some other celebrities? Not quite, as she reveals: "People are so critical and mean. My husband and I were talking about it the other day - there's an entire business on telling you how s**t you look at the Emmys or the Golden Globes…Horrible!"

And red carpet dressing doesn't seem to be getting any easier: "People have said some wonderful things about me. Yet not one designer in town will loan me a dress. I'm still struggling for someone to give me a darn dress."

It isn't just the critics who indulge in body talk - as our gallery below shows, there are plenty of stars who like to wax lyrical about their figures.
