Home Tour Europe Hola From Madrid

Hola From Madrid

Its been a few days since we've blogged but having back to back shows in Zaragoza and Madrid was a bit grueling so I'll give you an update over the last few days.

We arrived into Zaragoza to find the wind so bad that we were not able to use our full production.  We obviously didn't want to give the Zaragoza audience anything less what we have done on all our shows. But unfortunately, after trucking all the video screens and gear from London to Zaragoza for safety reasons we could not hang any screens. But based on the incredible reaction of over 12,000 fans the show was a smashing success. Gloria (amazing as ever) braved the freezing cold weather and performed a great show.  It was freezing cold (especially for us warm blooded Floridians). We then had an overnight drive to Madrid where we arrived about 5am in the morning and then back to the Madrid Arena for soundcheck by 5pm.

The Madrid Show Was Amazing
Glo performed 3 full encores and treated the fans to some very impromptu performances of always tomorrow with her guitar, "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me", (which was originally only supposed to be part of the show at Wembley) and a Joselito Classic which the audience loved. It was also amazing to hear the crowd sing every word of "Con Los Años."
The Madrid fans were great and we had a blast.   We love Madrid!!!

We are off to Mallorca
See you there,
Frank
