AnnaSophia Robb Cast As Carrie Bradshaw In The CW’s ‘Carrie Diaries’ Pilot
Do you think AnnaSophia was the right choice to fill Carrie’s legendary Manolo Blahniks?
It’s official: Soul Surfer star AnnaSophia Robb will be clip-clopping down the halls this fall as a high school-aged Carrie Bradshaw on The CW’s The Carrie Diaries — assuming, of course, that the network decides to pick up the pilot for a full season. Which it totally will.
HollywoodLife.com has been all over The Carrie Diaries since rumors of the pilot first hit the web. Our source told us exclusively that the show would cast a relative unknown for the plum role of Carrie Bradshaw — and even though AnnaSophia has already appeared in several movies, she’ll still be a fresh face for most viewers.
Now here’s my only question: Are they really going to keep The Carrie Diaries as the title of the show? I know it’s based on the book series of the same name, but they can’t possibly have TWO shows on their network titled The ___ Diaries. It’s my understanding that vampires can be very territorial about such things.
At the risk of scaring viewers away — literally — would it to be crazy for them to shorten it to just plain Carrie?

I really can’t wait to start watching AnnaSophia on the Carrie Diaries. I have been masturbating over AnnaSophia for a long time, since she was Violet in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory remake actually. Now that she is 18, she has become a breathtakingly beautiful girl. I loved her in the movie Soul Surfer and I now own the DVD and jerk off over her in that movie regularly. Can’t wait to start doing it every week during her new show.
