Whether the show goes up at all is being debated as advertising, once everywhere, has slowed to a trickle, and the show's publicist didn't even know about the postponement.
In addition, producer Nicky Fylan still owes approximately $250,000 to members of Canadian Actors Equity from his failed tour of Durante in 1990. Payment in full is a requirement of allowing Fylan to open with Tru. David Caron, of Canadian Actors Equity, on the subject of Tru said that we may know for certain if the show is going to run after Friday, payday for Louis and the two stage managers.
