Aretha Franklin's health has been a matter of speculation for a while now and the fact that the soul diva canceled a September show won't quell that concern or chatter about her health.

'Retha, 71, canceled her summer dates so she could continue to receive treatment for an undisclosed illness.

Now, the singer has pulled out of her scheduled show in Atlanta, Georgia on September 21.

A statement from bosses at the Fox Theater venue read as follows: "Due to unfortunate circumstances, Aretha Franklin's show at the Fox Theater on September 21 has been cancelled. Tickets purchased for the show will be refunded by the Fox Theater Ticket Office."

When she first canceled dates, Franklin wrote an open letter to fans, saying she had to put health first. Health MUST be her priority – we do not blame her for postponing shows to take care of herself, even if we don't know WHAT is ailing her or has been ailing her.

    Get better soon, Aretha.

Who is your favorite soul diva?
