Paula Abdul films Neighbours cameo: Who's 'Knocked Out' by popstar?

Paula Abdul has made a cameo appearance in Neighbours.
The singer, actress and choreographer's appearance on the show will see her share scenes with established character Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher).
Karl will be delighted to meet Abdul, and viewers will see him reveal that he has been harbouring a long-running crush on her.
Speaking about her soap debut, former American Idol and X Factor USA judge Abdul said: "I remember watching Neighbours when I was in England in the 1980s.
"I thought it was a lot of fun, and for it to still be popular after nearly 30 years is an amazing achievement.
"Everyone was so nice and I will admit, Dr Karl was very charming. I had a really lovely time."
Neighbours aired Abdul's debut today (June 20) in Australia. UK viewers will be able to see her appearance on Friday, July 4 on Channel 5.
