San Francisco-based reddit offers an online social news site, reddit.com, for sharing user-generated ideas, images and links. The site, which runs entirely on AWS, can scale to handle 4 billion page views per month. For President Obama’s live Q&A session in 2012, reddit engineers were able to provision additional volumes and double capacity for the event in less than 10 minutes.
