It’s the end of an era: Brian and Vogue McFadden have officially gone their separate ways.
The couple, who married in 2012, announced the split on their respective Twitter pages.
The post on Brian’s page read: ‘It is with sadness that Vogue and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.
‘We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and we wish each other all the very best for the future.
‘We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period. Brian x’
His soon-to-be ex-wife Vogue posted a similar statement on her Twitter profile.
The split will come as a huge shock to many, as the couple had just bought their first home together in Howth.
‘I’ve literally just got the keys and we’re very excited,’ Vogue, 29, wrote in her Sunday World column last month.
However, the normally social duo hadn’t been spotted together at any celeb events in the last few weeks.
Vogue has been keeping busy with work, and recently took part in a swimwear shoot with fellow Irish model Nadia Forde and I’m A Celebrity’s Amy Willerton in Ibiza.
And Brian spent last weekend at a celebrity golfing event in Wales, where he spent time with Ronan Keating, Brian Ormond and Keith Duffy.
Former Fade Street star Vogue married the ex-Westlife star in a lavish ceremony in Italy in 2012.
The two had met on a night out in Ireland and Vogue soon jetted over to join Brian, 35, at his base in Sydney, where he was working at the time on Australia’s Got Talent.
They got engaged just eight months later.
Brian was previously married to Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona, but the two divorced in 2006.
