Rachel McAdams is definitely going strange, Dr. Strange that is.
The Wrap reports Monday that McAdams personally confirmed from the Toronto Film Festival that she has joined Benedict Cumberbatch in Marvel's Dr. Strange directed by Scott Derrickson.
No elaboration was given, nor details on the McAdams lead part.
Cumberbatch is already starring as Dr. Stephen Strange alongside Tilda Swinton (the Ancient One) and Chiwetel Ejiofor (as Baron Mordo). Shooting is slated to star in November and Disney will release the film on Nov. 4, 2016.
McAdams has had an up-and-down role with roles in the thoroughly-criticized second season of True Detective and the film bomb Aloha. She also appeared alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in Southpaw.
