The project is the latest move in Allen’s growing relationship with Amazon. On the film side, Amazon Studios recently announced its acquisition of the writer-director’s latest untitled feature for all North American rights, including theatrical and streaming. The 1930s romantic comedy stars Jeannie Berlin, Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg, Blake Lively, Parker Posey, Kristen Stewart, Corey Stoll, and Ken Stott. Amazon will open the film this summer with a traditional, nationwide theatrical release for three months before making it exclusively available on Amazon Prime.
Rapaport is repped by Innovative Artists and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Ebersole, Black and Behar are repped by APA.
Pass.
I don’t believe there’s a soul on the planet who believes Michael Rapaport can act.
Joy have been talking shit about him for YEARS on the view and now she’s co-staring on his show?? I guess she’s either leaving the view for a 2nd time, or the check is really nice
Lewis Black is a seasoned Allen veteran, having one line as a TV writer in Hannah and Her Sisters. He appeared a walk-and-talk scene with Julia Louis Dreyfus, Christian Clemenson and John Tuturro, each of whom had one line each as well.
