After Lady Gaga and The Chainsmokers traded tweets Tuesday (Oct. 18) over a controversial Rolling Stone quote, Gaga later tweeted with their "Closer" collaborator Halsey.

It started when Halsey tweeted about Gaga being one as one of her “greatest idols."

Once Gaga got word of the tweet, she responded by thanking Halsey for her kind words -- which led to Halsey geeking out on Snapchat. See Gaga’s response and Halsey’s adorable reaction below:
