HBO filming to close part of Atlantic City-Brigantine tunnel Thursday

A portion of the Atlantic City-Brigantine Connector tunnel will be closed for most of the day Thursday because scenes from the new HBO show "Succession" will be filmed there, an official said.

The northbound side will be closed entirely and the southbound left lane will be closed until 4 p.m., Brigantine police said in a statement. The southbound right lane is still open, the South Jersey Transportation Authority said.

Drivers should expect heavy delays around the Borgata and on the White Horse Pike near the Huron intersection, police said.

"Succesion" begins airing in June. Starring Bryan Cox and Kieran Culkin, it follows the lives of a family that controls one of the world's largest media and entertainment conglomerates, according to HBO.com.

"Succession tracks their lives as they contemplate what the future will hold for them once their aging father begins to step back from the company," the website says.
