  • Hi, I would like to know TCP timestamp is disabled by default when <g class="gr_ gr_6 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace" data-gr-id="6" id="6">installed</g> the Microsoft windows2008 R2?

    >TCP timestamps are disabled by default. You can enable TCP timestamps by changing the value of the Tcp1323Opts registry entry (HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters).

    Value Name: Tcp1323Opts
    Value Type: DWORD (32-bit) Value
    Valid  Data: 0 or 2
    0 (disable the use of the TCP timestamps option)
    2 (enable the use of the TCP timestamps option)

    In general, you can use network monitoring tool to capture packets and have a further identification about the TCP timestamp staue.
