Watch Ally Brooke & Tori Kelly Give 'Shallow' a Sultry R&B Makeover at LA Show

It seems like everyone wants to take a deep dive into the "Shallow." The Grammy- and Oscar-winning Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper smash from A Star Is Born has become a go-to power cover for everyone from Kelly Clarkson and Nick Jonas to Howard Stern to Lea Michele and Darren Criss. 

There's just something about the ballad's soaring, emotional lyrics and dynamic interplay that is inspiring other artists to take a swing at the song, which catapults Ally way beyond Jackson in the movie. On Thursday night at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, a different Ally -- former Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke -- teamed up with the night's headliner, Tori Kelly, for a sultry, R&B-tinged version of the duet.

With just an acoustic guitar beneath them, the women's soulful voices mesh to evoke all the heartbreak and heartache in the tune, which has pushed Gaga halfway to EGOT status.
