It is a curiously uneven play that Richard Herndon has thrown upon the mercies of the waning season. Long stretches of "Catskill Dutch" are crudely undramatic in movement, humorless and stilted in dialogue. One wonders how such a play ever came to be produced. View Full Article in Timesmachine »
