Jessie James Decker, Erika Jayne, Scott Evans, AJ Gibson, Laura Marano and Zach Sang will all host AMAs Red Carpet Live presented by Security Benefit — the official pre-show for the 2018 American Music Awards — dick clark productions announced Thursday (Oct. 4).
The pre-show will begin at 6 p.m. ET from Microsoft Theater in LA and it will stream live on the official AMAs YouTube channel (YouTube.com/TheAMAs). Fans will be able to converse with one another in real-time conversation during the live stream as the pre-show showcases exclusive interviews and a star-studded lineup of nominees, performers and presenters.
Decker’s most recent album, Southern Girl City Lights, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart. Additionally, she has plenty of experience in front of the camera, as she is a star of the reality show Eric and Jessie, alongside her husband Eric Decker.
As a musical artist, Jayne has compiled nine No. 1 hits on Billboard‘s Dance Club Songs chart. Like Decker, she is no stranger to the television screen, as a cast member and fan favorite on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Rounding out the hosting crew is actress Marano, who starred on Disney Channel’s Austin and Ally; TV hosts Evans, an on-air correspondent for Access Hollywood and Access Live, and Gibson; and Westwood One radio personality Sang.
The two-hour pre-show will lead fans right up until the beginning of the 2018 AMAs, which take place Tuesday (Oct. 9) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Tracee Ellis Ross will host for a second consecutive year.
