Justin Timberlake breaks out of a tie for the most Pop Songs No. 1s among male artists, as “Not a Bad Thing” rises 2-1 to become his seventh leader. With the jump, he passes Bruno Mars, with six. Among all acts, Timberlake ties Lady Gaga; only Katy Perry and Rihanna (11 each) and P!nk (nine) have scored more. Timberlake tallied an additional two No. 1s with ‘N Sync: “Bye Bye,” which led for 10 weeks, and “It’s Gonna Be Me” (five), both in 2000.

Timberlake, meanwhile, notches his 25th chart entry as “Love Never Felt So Good,” with Michael Jackson, debuts at No. 37. It’s Jackson’s first chart visit since “Hold My Hand,” with Akon, reached No. 38 in January 2011 and already his highest rank since “Butterflies” winged to No. 36 in 2002.
