Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin has been one of the Latin acts to conquer the Billboard Hot 100. His first single to appear on the chart was his smash hit “María,” which peaked at No. 88 in 1996. However, it wasn’t until 1999 that Martin crowned the chart for the first time with “Livin’ La Vida Loca” (chart dated May 8, 1999), dethroning Jennifer Lopez, who was leading with “If You Had My Love.”
Today, Martin celebrates another year of life and in honor of his birthday, Billboard compiled all the superstar’s songs that have charted on the Hot 100 list in the last 20 years. From “Maria” to “Shake Your Bon-Bon,” enjoy Martin’s Hot 100 hits:
“María” peaked No. 88 in 1996.
