A new documentary — Elton John: The Nation’s Favorite Song, premiering Saturday at 8 p.m. ET/7:30 p.m. PT on REELZ — looks back at how his songs have stood the test of time.

The 90-minute documentary is comprised of home videos and archival footage that details John’s career as he experienced it. The pop star shares stories of his outrageous wardrobes and his relationship with songwriter Bernie Taupin, which has spanned half a century.  What’s more, artists like Annie Lennox, Lionel Richie, Rod Stewart, Sting, Chris Martin, Billy Joel, Quincy Jones, Boy George and Dionne Warwick share their own personal experiences of working with Elton.
