The beautiful photo complimented a story that delved into Adele’s five-year hiatus after the success of “21,” and of her inner struggle with fame. “I’m really frightened of [being famous,]” she said. “I think it’s really toxic, and I think it’s really easy to be dragged into it…. That level of attention is really frightening, especially if you don’t live around all that showbiz stuff.”
