New Line Cinema is partnering with Bron Studios on Wind River filmmaker Taylor Sheridan‘s next feature, Those Who Wish Me Dead, which stars Nicholas Hoult and Angelina Jolie.
The film is being produced by Film Rites and Bron Studios. Creative Wealth Media will co-finance with New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros. Pictures will handle worldwide marketing and distribution.
“Taylor Sheridan is an exceptional filmmaker and we are thrilled to be partnering with him, Angelina Jolie, Bron and the entire filmmaking team on this exciting project,” New Line Cinema’s Carolyn Blackwood, president and chief content officer, and Richard Brener, president and chief creative officer, said Thursday in a joint statement.
The project adapts a book by Michael Koryta for a female-driven neo-Western set against a wildfire in the Montana wilderness. The cameras are set to start rolling next month, with the ensemble cast to include Jon Bernthal, Tyler Perry, Aidan Gillen, Medina Senghore, Finn Little and Jake Weber.
Sheridan is producing the pic with Garrett Basch, Steven Zaillian and Aaron L. Gilbert, while Kevin Turen, Jason Cloth, Kathryn Dean and Michael Friedman will executive produce.
