Ilana Glazer and Rachel Bloom used to be roommates

New York City isn’t so “Broad” after all. The stars of two beloved TV comedies — Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Broad City — once lived together in Brooklyn before they both got their own shows.

Monday morning, Crazy Ex Girlfriend star Rachel Bloom reminded fans that Broad City star Ilana Glazer is a former roommate of hers in a kissy-faced Instagram collage of the two actresses.

“[Six] years ago we were roommates in Brooklyn and now we have tv shows. @ilanusglazer is just the best,” Bloom wrote.

The fact that Glazer and Bloom shared a room in NYC right after college isn’t totally new — a New York Times profile on Bloom subtly mentioned the roomie connection in January. Could we maybe get a Crazy Ex Girlfriend–Broad City crossover out of this friendship? Here’s hoping!
