Kim Kardashian recently chatted up Ryan Seacrest and shared some deets about her much-anticipated wedding dress!
From Hollywood Life: "When asked if she'd seen any wedding dresses that had caught her eye, Kim said there's one in particular she loved. There's really risky things, like Audrey Hepburn, where she wore this shorter dress that I thought was so cute,' she explained, adding, But, like, Christina Aguilera's dress—the shape of it was really beautiful.'"
Christina, you may recall, wore a figure-hugging, V-neck, flamenco-style wedding dress by Christian Lacroix during to her 2005 nuptials. (Here are some pics of Christina Aguilera's wedding dress.)
As far as Audrey Hepburn's dress goes, I assume Kim's referring to her second wedding dress, the one she wore in 1969 to marry Italian psychiatrist Andrea Dotti.
Audrey also went short (or, tea-length) for her first trip down the aisle, when she married actor Mel Ferrer in 1954. (Here are some pics of Audrey Hepburn's wedding dress from her first wedding.) But my guess is Kim is referring to her second, super-60s wedding dress.
She also told Ryan: "I think I would want to do something really classic and old Hollywood."
And she shared this tidbit, which is quite smart: "A friend of mine said, Pick one feature that you'd want to accentuate—but you can't accentuate it all.'"
That's sage advice that another wise Kim (um, me) shares with brides quite often: Wear a low-cut dress! Wear a backless dress! Wear a short dress! Wear a tight dress! But DON'T wear a low-cut, backless, short, tight dress. Please! (I'm shuddering at the thought over here!)
