We held our annual All Hands Meeting on the Culver City studio lot last week with the help of Ryan Seacrest, the new host of Wheel of Fortune! #SonyPicsEmployees tuned in from around the world to hear from Tony Vinciquerra (Sony Pictures Chairman and CEO) and other senior executives as they celebrated #SonyPics’ accomplishments over the last year and looked forward to the exciting opportunities ahead.

June 8th has been officially declared as Ghostbusters Day by the City of Los Angeles! Jason Reitman (Director/Filmmaker) attended the Resolution Ceremony, which took place last week in honor of the original film’s 40th anniversary. The Starlight Children’s Foundation also announced their second collaboration with the LA Ghostbusters to create a new generation of Ghostbusters-themed hospital gowns for children.

Our Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) invited all Sony employees to attend a Luminaries Speaker Series featuring longstanding #SonyPics partner, the Geena Davis Institute (GDI). Attendees heard from Geena Davis (Academy-Award winning actor and Founder and Chair, GDI) and Madeline Di Nonno (President and CEO, GDI) as they discussed how their organization champions and leads efforts to increase equitable representation in global entertainment media.
