John Bishop has been inundated with supportive messages after sharing a "grateful" family update on Monday.
The 57-year-old comedian is the proud dad of of three sons Joe, 26, Luke, 24 and Daniel, 22, whom he shares with wife Melanie. Away from his numerous telly roles, John keeps his many fans updated with regular social media posts.
And this week he shared a heartfelt tribute with his 896,000 Instagram followers.

The update featured a number of photos of John with his youngest son Daniel from over the years. Captioning the post, John said: "Happy birthday to @danielbish_ . As a man you continue to grow and learn and your capacity to love and care for others always shines through. I am enjoying watching your journey and I am proud and grateful that I can call you my son [heart emoji]".
Fans have rushed to send well wishes in the comments section, as Di said: "He's so like you, happy birthday x" and Jane said: "Lovely family photos!" Philomena said: "Happy birthday to your boy Daniel. I think it's so brilliant nowadays that dad's can communicate how they feel about their sons, admirable even."
John is gearing up to host a special goodbye event for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. He and Peter McDowall will present An Evening with Jurgen Klopp at the M&S Bank Arena on Tuesday, May 28.
The night, which will also include music performances from Lightning Seeds, The Zutons and Alfie Boe, will feature a live Q&A with Klopp himself.
