Ant McPartlin will be back at work tomorrow just one week after becoming a dad, according to reports.

The Geordie host, 48, and his wife Anne-Marie Corbett welcomed their son, Wilder Patrick, into the world on Tuesday, with proud dad Ant admitting he was "a mess" after the birth. The star, who was papped today walking his dogs near his London home, has been a baby bubble with his family.

However, the telly favourite should be back at his day job tomorrow, presenting The Prince's Trust Awards at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London with his best pal Declan Donnelly. Ant and Dec have presented the show for more than a decade and the Prince's Trust has just posted on X: "We're rolling out the red carpet and that can only mean one thing… The Prince’s Trust and @TKMaxx_UK & @HomesenseUK. Awards are TOMORROW! Join us on Facebook, YouTube or TikTok tomorrow from 15:45 to catch all the action live from the red carpet!"

Ant, who will also be back on our screens for the Britain's Got Talent live shows later this month, decided to take a break from his popular Saturday Night Take Away show, which he hosts with Dec, after the duo said they needed to spend time with their families.

The Byker Grove star, who has fronted the show with his friend since 2002, launched the "final series" of the ITV show in February. Ant opened up about the decision to take a break from the primetime programme in an interview with Flaunt magazine. Asked what's next for the diminutive duo, he said: "A lot, we do the show and then Britain's Got Talent, but on a more personal level, part of the reason we're pausing Takeaway is we need a break ourselves, and we need to spend some time with our family. We've both got children that we need to spend time with for a little bit."

As his followers and celebrity pals shared messages of congratulations following his baby news last week, others reacted to Ant's never-seen-before tattoo, which included the name of his wife and his stepdaughters. As depicted in the reveal photo, the host has a sizebale family tree on his shoulder and hidden within the branches are six names - Amzie, Daisy, Poppy, Bumble, Milo and Hurley. The tattoo holds great sentimental value to Ant, as they are the names of his wife, step-children and his beloved dogs.

Alongside the snap of the star holding their newborn son to his chest, the BAFTA winning host captioned the post: "Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick Mcpartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess."
