Brian McFadden and his fiancée Danielle Parkinson have welcomed their first child together.

The former Westlife singer announced the happy news in an Instagram post he shared on Sunday evening with a snap of Danielle pushing their baby girl in a pram.

In the black and white photo, Danielle, who has dressed in a hoodie and tracksuit bottoms, had her back to the camera as she pushed the buggy down the street.

He captioned the adorable snap: "Mammy, Daddy and baby out for our first walk together. It's been the best week of our life @daniparky."

The couple are yet to reveal the baby's name or when she was born.

Danielle is also yet to post about their new baby on her own Instagram account.

The couple announced they were expecting back in November last year.

Danielle told OK Magazine: "We're due on 14 May. But they said normally with your first baby it can be early."

They had conceived their daughter through IVF and tragically suffered two miscarriages before falling pregnant with their new arrival.

The new mum added when making the announcement: "It does [feel like a miracle] but I feel awful saying that, as I've had so many messages on Instagram.

"The IVF community is so lovely and I've heard real traumatic stories from people who have been trying for 10 years, people who have had eight-plus miscarriages, so I feel we got lucky on our third attempt."

Brian also shares two children with his ex-wife Kerry Katona: Molly, 19, and 18-year-old Lilly-Sue.

The couple announced that they would be having a baby girl back in January.

Sharing a scan photo, Brian said: "Hello to our little angel! We're having a GIRL!!!!!!!!"

The couple decided not to do a big gender reveal party amid the coronavirus pandemic and the third lockdown.

Danielle previously discussed how they struggled to get pregnant during a candid Instagram Live, saying it took a couple of years.

She said: "My self and Brian have been together for four and a half years now.

"A year into our relationship we decided to start trying for a baby, without thinking too much about it, just the odd ovulation test here and there.

"After a year and a half we realised we may need some help. We made an appointment with our doctor to start the IVF process about two years ago.

"We were told all the worst news, given worst case scenarios but you just have to keep going and trying everything you can.

"Getting your body and your head in the best physical health is the most important thing... if it's something you really want you've just got to throw everything at it."
