Better Oblivion Community Center have shared a new song called ‘Little Trouble’. Scroll down to hear it now.
The duo, which is comprised of Phoebe Bridgers and Conor Oberst, have played the song during recent live shows in the US.
The track was previously only available to purchase as part of a two-track seven-inch, which was only on sale on the pair’s US tour. Now available both digitally and physically, the release also comes with a reworked “daydreamin’ version” of their album track ‘Sleepwalkin’’. You can stream both below now.
Earlier this year, Better Oblivion Community Center surprise-released their self-titled debut album. In a four-star review, NME said: “In the centre of the Venn diagram where the spirits of Conor Oberst and Phoebe Bridgers meet, you’ll find something pretty special.
“Their chemistry clicks immediately on opener ‘I Didn’t Know What I Was In For’, which is sung from the point of view of someone working a temporary job and driven insane by the futility of everything they see.”

Speaking to NME about putting out the record unannounced, Bridgers said: “I really wanted to, because even before we started this I had a really good idea of what our hypothetical band would sound like. I don’t think it does like sound that, so I wanted to make sure that people didn’t think it was going to sound a certain way. It’s not duet-y. I think we stayed pretty true to it being its own band.”
The pair also added that their partnership grew “gradually” as the pair discovered a more live, rock and organic sound, fighting against any folk-y expectation that people may have had of them.
