Kate Nash has revealed that a new collaboration between her and Metronomy may see the light of day this summer.
The ‘Foundations’ singer said that that the handful of tracks she has recorded with the band won’t be terribly easy to spot, however, as they wouldn’t be released under their current guises.
“It won’t be under my name or Metronomy,” she told the Daily Star, adding that the songs would most likely be released to DJs. “It’s going to be an underground side project.”
Nash also revealed that she has roped in former Suede man Bernard Butler on production duties for her second album. They will start working as soon as Butler finishes up working on former Long Blondes singer Kate Jackson‘s solo effort.
Butler produced Duffy‘s debut album, ‘Rockferry’.
