Longtime club partner and beloved Oregon brand debuts on Timbers kit in today’s match vs. Seattle Sounders FC

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Portland Timbers today unveiled Tillamook® as their new front of jersey sponsor in a multiyear deal. The Oregon-based, farmer-owned dairy cooperative makes its debut on the Timbers kit in today’s match against Seattle Sounders FC.

“We are absolutely thrilled to bring these two iconic Oregon brands together and to celebrate our state in such a unique way through this expanded partnership,” shared Timbers CEO Heather Davis. “Tillamook is a brand that truly represents the best of Oregon, and the Portland Timbers are incredibly proud to wear the Tillamook name on our jerseys.”

A long-time partner of the club, the Timbers have represented Tillamook around the stadium since 2014 through activations like the “Cheddar Baby Loaf” that fans know and love, and availability at concessions throughout the stadium.

“We’re excited to expand our relationship with the Portland Timbers, and this is truly a result of the fans. When the Timbers began looking for a new jersey sponsor, we received dozens upon dozens of comments from fans pleading with Tillamook to become the jersey sponsor,” said Kate Boltin, VP of Marketing at Tillamook. “It will always be important to us to support our home state of Oregon, and the time felt right to further invest in our longstanding partnership with the Timbers, do some good for the community and show appreciation to the fans.”

As a Certified B Corporation, Tillamook is committed to acting as a force for good, and the co-op intends to bring that commitment forward in the Timbers partnership. Tillamook will engage in the Timbers Fields for All program that works to build soccer fields and futsal courts for children in under-served communities. Through this program, Tillamook and the Timbers will install new soccer fields in rural Oregon communities beginning in 2025.

In addition, the Timbers will invite Tillamook employees to join Timbers fans for “Stand Together” week September 9-13, 2024, an annual week-long community initiative supporting non-profit projects and in-person volunteer opportunities across Portland.

Tillamook will be featured prominently on the Timbers’ home and away kits, including the club’s commemorative 50th club anniversary jersey during the 2025 MLS season. The Portland Plaid primary kit and Nature Unites community kit featuring Tillamook across the front is available for presale now.
