Two Way Traffic with Reverse Angle Parking COMPLETE
The City of Springfield announces the completion of select one-way streets to two-way traffic.
4th Street from South Grand Ave to Dodge Street
Adams Street from 6th Street to 9th Street
Drivers and pedestrians are urged to use additional caution with these new traffic patterns.

City of Springfield is excited to introduce our new Zone Managers and Neighborhood Police Officers (NPOs) as part of the Mayor’s localized initiative to address community nuisances and blight proactively. These teams will work closely together to ensure a safer, cleaner, and more vibrant Springfield.

2024 Leaf/Yard Waste Curbside Pick-up
Week of
June 10th
, the City's "no sticker," bi-weekly curbside leaf/yard waste pick-up will occur in the
South Zone:
South of South Grand Ave. and Old Jacksonville Rd. Including residential properties around the lake.
Bags must be placed curbside by 6:00 a.m. Bags should not be placed on boulevards.
Crews always work from west to east in each zone. Those located in the eastern part of their zone will be picked up in the later part of the week.
