List of candidates for Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2017 announced

The list of eligible candidates for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class of 2017 was announced Wednesday afternoon, headlined by former NBA stars Mark Aguirre, Muggsy Bogues, Maurice Cheeks, Tim Hardaway, Tracy McGrady, Sidney Moncrief, Mark Price, Ben Wallace and Chris Webber.

Finalists from the North American and Women's committees for the Class of 2017 will be announced at NBA All-Star Weekend. Enshrinement festivities will take place Sept. 7-9, 2017 in Springfield, Mass.

A * indicates a first-time nominee.
