Some of the hottest temperatures so far this year will continue today as lower desert temperatures approach or exceed 110° this afternoon. As a result, an Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for portions of the region through this evening as areas of Major HeatRisk continue across south-central and southwest Arizona and Southeast California.
Temperatures will warm up to well above normal readings once again today with Major HeatRisk persisting across the region. An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect through this evening for the majority of the area with lower deserts highs between 105-111°. Stay cool and hydrated and limit time outdoors!
Very hot temperatures continue today for National Donut Day. High temperatures will be similar or a degree or two cooler than yesterday. An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect through 8 PM tonight. Donut forget to stay cool and hydrated and limit time outdoors!
