This article needs a photograph.

Yep. It had one, but it didn't have its source, so it got wiped out. --Closeapple 19:53, 16 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tried adding a photo but it didn't upload. Not sure what format the photo needs to be. I tried different variations.
I also updated their album discography to include EVERY album / cd released. I have all but one.

The best thing to do is to upload an album cover. I'll try it later on. 216.79.251.201 01:07, 5 May 2006 (UTC) Correction to the Jets bio In the early 80's,they were playing the Twin Cities clubs under the name "Quasar" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.161.247.203 (talk) 06:41, 18 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Just cleaned up some of the punctuation --[edit]

-- and also fixed the broken link to The Star-Spangled Banner.

I never loved The Jets, but as a producer I have been somewhat fascinated by this group. I also enjoyed the production on some of their 1980s hits, including "You Got it All." As a writer, I shudder when I see punctuation outside of quotes. Sorry if it looks weird to some people, but the proper way to print "words in quotes," is to ALWAYS put the punctuation inside of the quotation marks -- in other words, just before the last end-quote.

Thanks.

I disagree, because quotes represent the title of something, so having a comma or a full stop inside of quotes is wrong, because the punctuation mark is not part of the title; cases inclusive excepted. Ss112 (Talk here!) 09:21, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How is it that Haini (January 25th, 1968) was born just 4 months after Eugene (September 24th, 1967)?

What have become with the Jets?[edit]

Have all of them move to hawaii where there are a large population of Tongans? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.162.240.220 (talk) 06:22, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Clarification to "Spin-Off" section[edit]

The band only performed the theme to "Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers" on the Disney Afternoon soundtrack. It did not perform the original theme song featured in the episodes. I revised the section accordingly. Wxkat (talk) 13:21, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Current Lawsuit[edit]

In August 2016, brothers LeRoy, Haini and Rudy under the name, JetWolf, LLC filed a lawsuit in the State of Utah against their sisters Elizabeth, Moana, Kathi, Natalia, brother Eddie and Moana's husband Haunga and Eddie's wife Lilly, to prevent them from performing as The Jets and stating they are former members. This lawsuit was initiated after a disagreement and vocal opposition from the sisters with management and direction of the group. The brothers are seeking monetary damages from the sisters and Eddie in excess of a half million dollars, claiming they are infringing on their rights by using the name and performing as The Jets. The brothers also make claims they own The Jets name.

Since the lawsuit, LeRoy, Haini and Rudy have created a Facebook page entitled The Jets Original Family Band making no mention or reference in the biography of any of the sisters, Eddie or Eugene in the The Jets history and origin. They also claim that it was the three brothers and their mother who were discovered and signed as The Jets.

This current lawsuit has since divided this religious Mormon family, pitting sides against each other. The parents, Mike and Vake have sided with LeRoy, Haini and Rudy and have cut off contact with Elizabeth, Moana, Kathi, Natalia and Eddie as well as 4 of their other children who support the sisters and Eddie. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.169.195.55 (talk) 07:34, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Current Lawsuit & Documentary[edit]

In August 2016, brothers LeRoy, Haini and Rudy under the name, JetWolf, LLC filed a lawsuit in the State of Utah against their sisters Elizabeth, Moana, Kathi, Natalia, brother Eddie and Moana's husband Haunga and Eddie's wife Lilly to prevent them from performing as The Jets and stating they are former members. A documentary entitled "The Jets: Making it Real" by Rudy Wolfgramm and Kels Goodman is set to premiere at the LDS Film Festival on March 4, 2017 in Orem, UT. The documentary is a spin off of a previously unsuccessful attempt by Rudy Wolfgramm 5 years ago, titled "The Jets: Making it in America" that also premiered at the same festival. This current documentary does not have any updated interviews by any of the sisters, Eddie or Eugene, but only updated interviews from the brothers. It also follows current band performances that only include the brothers, two younger sisters, their youngest brother and 2 of Haini's children. The documentary is inaccurate as it portrays Moana as the reason for the band's breakup in February 2016. It does not tell the truth or provide accurate facts and details. It is a narrative of one side, thus leaving the viewers with a rainbow version of the truth of the current groups legal suit.

There is currently an online petition on causes.com created by a younger sister to have the film removed from the festival.

Please note that edits to this page removing information on a the public lawsuit are being done by Rudy's wife, Jolynn Taylor Wolfgramm from her work computer at LDS Business College in Salt Lake City and from her personal home computer, as evidenced by the IP address for edits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Truth4Life (talkcontribs) 19:31, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Tongan[edit]

Should be x-ref'd under Tongan-Americans, as the entire family is of Tongan origin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.2.75.75 (talk) 17:21, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
