Motivation

I'm importing 2000+ paintings from the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki (Q4819492) and will connect these to the painters. Quite a few painters probably already exists, but I'm quite sure I'll have to create some new ones. This property is a nice addition to this list especially for artists from New Zealand.  Support but shouldn't this be under the authority control list? You posted this to the artwork id list. Is there something to use for the artworks? After poking around the Lindauer collection I noticed that they keep a few websites with paintings in private collections - it would be great if we could use them for paintings in and outside their collection, but which pertain to NZ.
